I could’ve sworn that Whatsapp was going to become the go-to platform for Customer Service. According to George Anders and as Jessica Kril updated, Whatsapp now has over 1 Billion active users a Month. It’s my opinion that Brands with a Worldwide reach wouldn’t consider Snapchat as their CS platform even though it has an impressive growth speed. Marketers are already blasting advertising through it. This probably means that soon enough “Millenials” will look for their next “whole in the wall” to connect with their friends in private.
on the other hand, Whatsapp has proven to consistently grow throughout the years without letting us marketers in. I know they’re saying that will change… As of yet, Whatsapp dominates the Data and user department, the platform handles more than 600 million photo and 64 billion overall messages every day. I guess it all depends if this is to happen on a National level and not International. One thing is for sure, If marketers and higher demographics keep moving into Snapchat, Teenagers and young adults will shift their attention to the next hot app.
